Can I reinstall WP without losing content

This is the issue: I AM A NOVICE – NOT DEVELOPER. I designed the website for a client in a “dev” URL – dev.ggmda.org. Then, I moved the files (with GoDaddy assistance) using FTP – copied them from dev . . . to ggmda.org. I can work on ggmda.org in the “wp-admin” mode, but cannot access it. I either get the “OOPS – link appears to be broken” box or, if I’m able to access ggmda.org, it comes up in the Dashbord/editing mode. I don’t know what to do. If there’s anyone “out there” who can help, I’d really appreciate it.
