    Hi,

Thanks for this amazing and lightning fast AMP plugin.
Presently I am using AMP for mobile devices and I have no issues with site speed on mobile devices.
However, due to a slow hosting my site loading speed is quite slow on desktop, therefore I am thinking about showing AMP version on desktop also.
So my question is, is it possible to redirect all desktop visitors to AMP pages?
My second question is, if this is possible will it make my site loading time faster on desktop also.

Thanks very much in advance for your kind reply.

    Hello @swagatam1975

Thank you for contacting us, You can use AMP for the desktop as well as for Mobile using the Standard Mode. it is an ideal choice as you will have only one version of your site. (so you won’t have the AMP ?amp=1 and non-AMP version / but all your site will be served as / only )

So there is no need for redirection, your site will be served normally with optimizations of the AMP plugin has to offer.

Before Switching to Standard Mode make sure that all your plugins and your theme is AMP compatible. if not then ask the respective theme or plugins author to make them AMP Compatible OR choose an alternative from the AMP ecosystem.

You can learn more about Standard Mode from Our Documentation or check the video below

Thank you so much Milind for your helpful reply,

I will try running my AMP plugin in the standard mode and see how it works.

    Thanks Again
