Tried this plugin this out on the first of the sites I am hosting, and am becoming a fan. But have a couple of questions based on what I have seen so far.

I tried offloading some images with the “Version to Bucket Path” option turned on. After looking at my bucket on Cloudflare in the browser I saw the version present and decided that is not something I wanted. So is there a way to rerun for offloads that have been processed already to offload them again based on current settings (and remove the ones offloaded originally)? Basically to re-sync the bucket to the site?

Also, I see the “Smart Local Cleanup” option but am not clear on where the backup is kept, and how restores can be made from it, if that is something that is possible

Thanks, and am looking forwards to a paid version, assuming that deals with the 50 files per batch issue.

    Barry

    Hi @barrypersonalctonet

Thank you for using Advanced Media Offloader!

Unfortunately, there isn’t an easy way to achieve this. The only solution is to remove the advmo_* post meta entries from your wp_postmeta table in the database for the attachments you want to re-upload to the cloud. You’ll also need to delete those files from the bucket. Once done, you can proceed to re-run the Bulk Offload process.

In Smart Local Cleanup, the main file and all WordPress-generated image sizes will be offloaded to the cloud and served from there. The plugin will then remove all WordPress-generated image sizes from your server, keeping only the main file as a backup on your server.
