Can I point a domain at it's own sub domain?

  • So i have a main site on a main domain…i would like to point the main domain name at the sub-domain site.

    So…

    when people type in “mywebsite.com” – I want them to go to “subdomain.mywebsite.com”

    Is this possible, or is this like looking into a mirror?

  • install WordPress on subdomain.mywebsite.com and put a simple index.php / index.html / etc… redirect to subdomain.mywebsite.com
