Can I make the sidebar display in pages accessed through permalink?

  • I want to send someone a link to a specific post using the permalink URL instead of just sending them to the current post page. When I do so, the sidebar and its contents do not display but I want them to.

    How can I make the sidebar (which has my photo, bio, etc.) display when someone accesses a specific post via the permalink?

  • Get another theme. Scroll up > Extend > Themes

    (and a better description: sidebar in the single post view)

    How do I tell which theme will allow me to view the sidebar in single post view?
