Can I link products as an option?

I am setting up a restaurant website and found that this plugin can be used to allow customers to choose options.

For example an option might be to select a drink and a list of drinks is presented. However, it’s possible that a drink might be out of stock.

Is there a way for me to make it so that I can select a product as an option, and when the product is out of stock, it will be reflected on the product page?
