Can I let Authors moderate comments on their own posts?

  • I want to make it so the author of a particular post will be able to moderate the comments on that post. Right now, it seems as if I can let them either moderate ALL comments, including to other authors’ posts, or not let them moderate at all.

    It would be good if, in addition, they also received notifications of only comments to their own posts, and only saw comments to their own posts in the moderation section of the backend.

    Any way to activate this without having to write a new plugin? I have searched and have only found other people asking for this functionality without any response.

  • did u get any response for this question. i have the same problem. i want authors to be able to see comments in their dashboards for their posts only. i havent a found any plugin for this.

    I also want this now! Set up a blog with 4 authors and they really should be mailed about comments on their posts, but not others.
