Can I install or Include the folder in the theme folder ?

    Hi
    is that possible to include the directory in the theme folder not in plugin folder as I already included the ACF in my theme folder.

    That is something I’ve seen people do when they are creating themes to be distributed. The problem is that when plugins are included in the theme like that, they don’t get updates.

    So this is not something I recommend that people do. If you are making a theme that is going to be distributed, there are better ways to include plugins that your theme requires. Check this out: https://tgmpluginactivation.com/

    @anjan0302 I wanted to let you know I’ve updated this plugin to support ‘theme installations’. I do still recommend the TGM Plugin Activation method if you are distributing a theme with required/recommended plugins. However for those that still want to bundle it, that should be possible now.
