My client creates WP Posts and these also automatically feed to MailChimp. We use the Featured Image, as the theme requires it.
If we want to add additional images to the Post, is there a way to hide them from the email?
Alternatively, is there to ensure these images inside the Post would be formatted nicely, while still using the FI for the initial image, as set up in MailChimp? If my client puts an image in the middle of the Post, the text then starts at the bottom line of the image, instead of wrapping.

  • Hi there,

In general, the body images will show up in Mailchimp unless the RSS feed is set to show excerpts only. You can however inspect the CSS that Mailchimp is using when outputting the email template, and format the images in the body separately I believe, making them left-aligned with text wrapping to the right.

If you’d like custom CSS support, we do provide that if you open a ticket within the Premium version of the plugin.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks,
    Rob

I have the premium version but when I click the link on “Need help? Please submit a new Support Thread”. it brings me here. How do I open a ticket?

Try the Contact Form tab in the menu instead. I’ll remove that Need Help text, it’s shown on the free version but not hidden on the Premium version like it should be.

    Rob
