can I have two types of sidebar?

    greedy I know, but I’d like a main sidebar for home page, perhaps contact page too, then a second sidebar arrangement with sub-menus/categories etc to feature on all other pages.

    Perhaps one sidebar for page, one for posts?

    I’ve resolved this with one of many plugins available. I chose ‘simple sidebars’.
