Can i have Extra form fields on the search form

    Hi skinnyninjah,

    Yes, you can add any fields you like to the listing or search. Do that under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields. You can change the visibility of the fields under there easily as well as add new ones.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the prompt response but i already saw that option on the Admin > Manage Form fields. I was asking about about the main search form, the one that displays on a page when you put this code [ businessdirectory ] that’s the the one i want to edit

    Ah–the very top one.

    That’s a bit different, I’m afraid. That would require you to customize the directory plugin to do. We don’t have settings to handle that right now.

    We do have some changes coming to allow support for searching on keywords + a city/state and keywords + ZIP code/postal code very soon. Is that what you’re looking for?

    If it’s something else, you’ll need to modify things to handle that. We have some articles to help you here as you work through those details on your own:
