Can I get second level menus?

  • Hi All,
    I’m getting to grips with the enigma theme, free version, but struggling to customise it the way I want. Fairly new to WordPress, so it does not help that I am not sure it is possible!

    Anyway, I have my pages nicely listed across the top, and they work as expected, taking me to that page when I click on them.

    I have added some new pages that I want to appear as sub-items of those menus. I have created the new pages, and set the parent of the new pages to the ones on the menu, but when I try it out, the sub-pages don’t show as an option anywhere I can spot.

    Have I done it right?
    Is it possible?

    What I would really like is (for example) when you hover over the “about us” button on the home page to be offered “What we do”, “Contact us”, “How you can help us” as options.

    But any other way of effectively getting such a hierarchical structure should cover it.

    Please go to Admin Dashboard >>Appearance >>Menus and create/edit menu and checked Primary Menu check-box in Menu Setting.

    Save menu.

    I have now tried this, the sub pages now appear ndented at the bottom of the top level page. But I was hoping to have the sub page appear as an option when you mouse over, or click on the higher level page link near the top of the home page.

    Is this possible please?
