Can I get a link to the newest image in a gallery?

    I have a photonic gallery defined as

    [gallery type='flickr' view='collections' collection_id='72157716916479396' user_id='88979937@N03' collections_display='lazy' photo_count='3' photo_layout='masonry' title_position='regular' main_size='o' tile_size='z' 
layout='mosaic']

    This shows a three flickr collections. Is there a way to reference the most recent image from the collections? Or from one flickr collection?

    The shortcode you have specified will show you albums within a collection, not 3 different collections. Are you asking how to show the most recent thumbnail for a given album? That cannot be done using Flickr’s API, but within Flickr you can set the cover picture for each album individually. Once you set that, Photonic will pull that picture. Basically Photonic shows you exactly what you have set up on Flickr.
