I have a number of other sites using the plugin interface, but new sites I am working on in my development area are defaulting to the new Web App interface.

Is there a way to force the plugin interface. It is much more suitable to my needs.

    Hi @usercentrix,

Greetings, we’re delighted to assist you!

We updated our plugin recently with a new design. We significantly improved our plugin with this release, and you can now directly link the plugin with our web app.

While we offer the updated plugin for all new websites, those websites that are still using our older plugin receives update without having their interface and settings changed.

There is no way to modify the plugin interface. If you require assistance using the plugin, please contact us. It may be a misunderstanding over the plugin’s preferences, or an improvement we can bring to the plugin. Tell us what problems you have to face while using the new plugin.

Thank you very much for replying. I understand that you have business objectives behind your move to this model. I assume that is to make your solution universal across multiple platforms.

However, the Web App solution does not suit my purposes going forward.

Thank you for the service you have provided me with up to this point. It was a very elegant solution and I am saddened to have to now look for an alternative, but I wish you all the best in your future business endeavours.

    Hi @usercentrix,

We’d like to point out that the web app connection isn’t required to use the plugin. You can use the Cookie Manager -> Add Cookie feature to manually add cookies to the plugin’s cookie categories.

We removed the ability to add scripts via the plugin due to feedback from the WordPress plugin review team. You can still add scripts to the theme and block them before consenting by going to Cookie Manager-> Add Cookie-> Advanced settings. Only the pattern that identifies the script needs to be entered into the ‘Script URL Pattern’ field.

As a result, you can continue to use the plugin without connecting to the web app. Web app connection is optional and is only needed if you require advanced functionality.
