Can I follow up online sales with an email?

    Hi

    Plug-in installed and looks to be sync’d…

    Being lazy, I haven’t read all the documentation yet, but what I would like to do is after a sale has been made on the site, I would like to send a follow up email to the customer with a discount coupon. I assume I would use automation in mailchimp, but I’m not sure what I should be automating on?

    Could you tell me if this is possible?

    @mrmodo thanks for reaching out on this question – that’s a great one. Since our primary job here on the plugin team is to make sure your data is in sync with Mailchimp, we would suggest that you reach out to Mailchimp’s support team to get help with your account, and discuss how to accomplish that task.

    We do know that it’s a very common thing to do, and you would most likely create an automation based on a new order coming in. Your coupons should be showing up in Mailchimp as well, so it’s very simple once you’re in the campaign builder.

    On another note – if you feel the plugin is doing it’s job getting data from your store into Mailchimp, we would greatly appreciate a fair review of our plugin if you have any time to do so.
