Can I enable shipping for virtual products?

I know this seems crazy, but I want to enable all the standard shipping features for “Virtual Products”. (I’ll spare you the details, but I need to do this to try to solve a certain limitation of Woocommerce Subscriptions.)
Is there a hook/function I could use to reverse-enable shipping for WooCommerce virtual products, so they are treated like physical products?

Hi, no that’s the problem. I need that box to be checked so that the product is considered a virtual product. But I need the product to be shipped.
(I know it seems strange, but there is a setting in Subscriptions that applies globally to all virtual products. I need that setting, so I need to set the product as a virtual product. But it’s not really virtual – I need to ship it.)
So I Was hoping there was a way to make the product virtual, and then use a hook to add the shipping features back.
