Can I edit variable pricing from the backend?

    Hello,

    This looks promising but not sure if I am understanding from reading if this is what I need. I have 500 products, most with variable pricing (but all different, can’t do it in bulk). I am looking for something that will allow for variable price changes per product (if needed) via the backend end column view (like a “quick edit” option) without having to log into EVERY product, scroll to pricing, tweak and save OR exporting and reimporting the csv database.

    Can this plugin help with that?

    Absolutely! Try out the free version and click on a cell. When you finish changing the price, press Enter and it will move down to the next product (same column).

    This way you can quickly make fine-tuned changes to your prices.

    The free version allows you to edit Regular Price, if you want to change many more fields such as Sale Price, etc then you can look into upgrading to the Pro version.

    Thanks! But to clarify, there are no sale prices but there are Variable prices for most products (so 3 – 8 prices per product with all the variables). Can that be tweaked from the backend w/o going in? Or can you only tweak sale / regular prices?

    I’m not sure that I understand completely. When you say “Variable Prices” do you mean “Regular Price on a Variable Product”? Or is “Variable Price” a field provided by another 3rd party plugin?

    Products with variables have different prices:

    Eg. Large is $100
    Medium is $80
    Small is $60

    Backend of WP only shows “Price” – I am hoping to see the separate prices and adjust them via backend quick edit type thing (in the columns of the admin) rather then have to fully edit each piece and dive in (saving clicks).

    Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. This is available in the free version of the PW Bulk Edit Plugin.

    Click on Plugins -> Add New -> Search for “Pimwick” and install our Bulk Edit plugin.

    After it is installed, click on Pimwick Plugins -> PW Bulk Edit

    Add a few filters (or search for “Product name contains %” to show all products). You can then edit the Regular Price column to make changes to the Price field for Variable products.
