    Hi,
we have 32 Tablepress tables for our lending library where every table has the columns Author and Book Title.
Now I want that the user can enter in a chat dialog the title and author. If then there is a book in one of those tables it is displayed. When not a message appears. If the book is available the user is shown the book description (book content).
To generate the book description I thought about ChatGPT. But how to solve the other part, I don’t know.

Do you know a solution to this. Perhaps with a plugin. It would be nice if you could help us to serve our customers even better.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Albert!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

I see what you mean, but unfortunately, I’m not aware of an existing solution for this. I have not yet seen a directly usable chat implementation for something like this, sorry. I’m also not sure if these could take into account the current/live information of tables, as these chat models are normally trained with some data and then just continue using that internally, without automatically re-training with the latest data.

Therefore, for your project, it might be more suitable to use the extensive filtering features that TablePress offers. With the TablePress premium versions, you could for example use “Individual Column Filter” or a “Search Panes” feature. You could also use the “Row Filtering” feature module to simplify managing your tables: With that, you could create one big table that contains all rows, and then automatically create the smaller tables by filtering e.g. for a category.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
