Can I do this with a blog…

  • Hi,
    I’ve installed a couple of WP blogs before…but now I have a challenge. The link below will show you a mock up of what this site will look like after a coming redesign…

    …what I’m after is advise on how I might keep the design of the top and both sides AND somehow up the BLOG in the content area (the center).

    I’m I way off base? Or does someone have an idea?

    Well, installing blogs and designing themes… are two very different tasks that require quite different skills/knowledge.

    You see, the problem always is: it can be done – but if you have to ask, better don’t try ??
    With the elements seen on that test page you may want to try to build a WordPress theme > Theme_Development. If this would be your first theme, I have to warn you that Churchill’s promise should apply…

    Actually I have both skills. I have found that asking a question or two before I dive into such a project mostly returns good pointers that might take me many hours to find out.

    As I was typing this an idea came to me. What if I were to imbed a frame in the content area and the frame held an edited down “blog”.

    So…the question would be can you embed a “blog” in a frameset. Has anyone tried this that might give me feedback?
