Can I display a menu of categories…

    Like other galleries, is there a way to display a menu of categories above the galleries display?
    In the case of a different gallery feature, we used categories to define a specific week, and the gallery is a room rental — with the gallery thumbnail (a room image) linking to a page containing room information and gallery images of the room.
    When a room is purchased for a specific week, we uncheck that category (that week) from the gallery entry. (The category ID is utilized in a Gravity Forms form.)

    Are you taking about displaying a list of categories on the front end, such as on a wordpress post or page? Possibly it could be done by writing some PHP code to find which categories are used by gallery post types.

    Thank you but no, that is not the issue.

    Have to revisit at a later date; no time to go into this further at the moment.
