    Autoptimize does not cache your pages alvisecervellati which is what SG cachign does, it optimizes JS & CSS and caches those optimized files. if the CSS/ JS would not be cached it would not be available for inclusion in the HTML cached by SG.

    Hope this clarifies,

    yes?

    when i activate the plug-in i see the space occupied by Autoptimize are full. It’s normal?

    That’s the optimized CSS/ JS cache, which is different from a page cache.

    Cache size depends on configuration, there’s more info on that in the AO FAQ, but here’s the summary;

    * disable “also aggregate inline JS”
    * disable “also aggregate inline CSS”
    * add wp-content/cache and wp-content/uploads to the comma-separated CSS optimization exclusion list

    hope this clarifies,
