Can I delete files in maint folder

  • Hi,

    my footer.php recently got injected with some code (hacked). I removed the code, and started searching for the same code, and found it under the “wp-admin/maint” folder.

    I checked my database, and all seems fine there, so my question is, can I manually delete the files in the “maint” folder and just leave in there the repair.php file?
