Since i have a few websites that use plugins without translation, i find using this plugin very handy to make translations. But since the website already has a lot of plugins running, i’m trying to limit the required resources and thus deactivate plugins that i don’t use.

Since the plugin creates the translated files, it seems logical to me that i can disable the plugin in order to save resources and processing time. Allthough i don’t think the load is big, every millisecond counts on high loads, so minimizing what can be minimized is key for me.

So the question is: can i safely deactivate the plugin if i made my translations and created the files in order to get them into my site? Or are there files required for building up the website with the correct translations.

I really love the plugin, so keep up the good work!

There is no reason why keep the plugin always active. If you don’t need it currently, just deactivate it. If you need it again, just activate it.
The few settings the model have so far will stay intact and will be again available after re-activation.
