Can I deactivate and remove this plugin without losing the links?

  • Hi,

    A third party used this plugin a year ago to create links. That person is no longer in the picture and this plugin has not had any update for about 2 years now.

    Is it safe to remove this plugin, without losing the work that was done with it, please?

    Hmm, I deactivated the plugin, and the links are no longer active.
    I guess that answered my own question haha.

    This plugin has been used in 2500+ articles in this site, so removing it will undo all that work, and keeping it, might be a red flag for safety.

    Will this plugin get future updates?

    Did you find any plugin alternative since it seems that the development of this one has been interrupted?

    No, I did not and I am pretty sure, all links will be lost if we deactivate and delete this plugin…
