• I have posted many articles, submitted a sitemap, and done all the Google search console related things. Now I realize I better categorize my posts. If I do it now will it affect my website’s presence in any way? Will it change my Google Search Console settings, or SEO related things? Please advise.

  • Yes, you can create categories at any point. I don’t know the answers to your other questions, though.

Thanks Reed. My main concern is whether it would affect the url and if it will cause a “website not found error” on categorized articles, or even create any indexing related problems.

Only if you change a post’s category. Just adding content will not affect anything.

    In short, no. ??

Thanks Steve. If I categorize them, then do I have to resubmit the sitemap, and does it sort of affect badly on my site on Google Search Console? I am totally new to this and am trying to learn, hence the question. ??

Google will find your site map changes if you’re previously submitted it. Adding categories can only help your SEO.
