Can I connect the carousel to large image above

I have installed the JJ Nextgen JQuery Carousel on my wordpress site and it looks great BUT I would like to click on one of the images and have a large duplicate image display above. Is this possible. Can I add to the shortcode to get this outcome? Please be gentle as I am not a programmer.
