Can I clip entries?

Can you hide the body of an entry “behind the cut”? To explain different, can you have a link from a front-page entry that leads to the direct-linked entry, with a body of text viewable only in the direct-linked entry? That’s the best I can explain it, I think …

I can’t think of a better example than the way LJ has it set up … (i.e. <lj-cut text=”text”>)
