• Hello! I’m working on building up this site:

    https://www.smalldreamada.com

I’m no programmer, but I can generally figure out css enough to change a text color and move things around a few pixels. Anyway, I like the layout of Pageline’s Platform theme, but I can’t edit the text (from black) so that I can see it in the page body. Is there any way to edit the text color and do other tiny css changes without having to upgrade–the whole reason I use wordpress is so I can save on cash by doing it myself.

    Thanks for the help.

  • Its basic CSS. Look for style.css in yr theme.

I’d suggest using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this sort of work.

The trouble was that I couldn’t easily access the Platform’s CSS without upgrading to Pro, so…just went with another theme. It was a pity though, because I liked the way it looked.

    Hi,

I’m not sure I’m in the right place but I’ve been pulling my hair trying to change the entire background colour of my website https://www.kissybangbang.com. I’ve got the free version of Platform and I’ve been advised to add this code body{background:#FFCCFF;} to my theme’s CSS- but where exactly do I add it?

Thanks in advance- would really appreciate any assistance on this!
