I needed help with the speed of my website so I asked a professional, he added Smush to my site and reduced all of my images, only trouble with that is I need some of the images to remain the size they were uploaded. They are cross stitch patterns and need to be printed at full size, is there anyway I can revert them back to their original size?
Also, I am sure I noticed a note somewhere that said Smush was not compatible with my version of wordpress?

  • Hello @lynnb1234

    I trust you’re doing well!

The free version of the Smush plugin doesn’t resize original images. So f the image thumbnail was optimized please feel free to use the Regenerate Thumbnail plugin to restore the images back as they were. It will allow the restoring back of some images. Otherwise, if you have created a backup, please re-store these images from a backup or re-upload these images.

Also, I am sure I noticed a note somewhere that said Smush was not compatible with my version of wordpress?

Please let us know what version of the plugin and what is the WordPress version that you’re using? To avoid this issue please have the latest version of the SMush and the latest version of the WordPress installed.

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
