Can I call a gallery by title, rather than id?

    @bettsy – Although most of the parameters from NextGEN Legacy shortcode structures (the one you are referencing) were translated into the current NextGEN Gallery, the id parameter only accepts the gallery ID number now.

    So there’s no way at all to place a gallery into a post by gallery title? Wow.

    I understand that using a three digit ID code is more efficient than “Tommy and I surfing Bali – 2013” but the problem for me is I have no control over the ID and so can’t predict what text I will need to call a future gallery. I’d really like to be able to know that for my own automation.
