I’m a freelance website developer with no experience using multisite, and I want my own site to have the following flow to it:

    1. A potential client visits my site and contacts me with interest in a new site development.
    2. At some point I want to give them the option from the front end of my site to deploy a WordPress installation on my server, much like Multi Site would work. This is the start of their actual site that I will migrate to their domain. My first question is whether I can use Multisite or need a stand-alone WordPress install.

Now for the hard part – Included in that deployment should be some additional plugins and a theme, which will either need to be the most recent versions that are uploaded, or the plugins could be pre-packaged, uploaded, then updated automatically via “Update Control” plugin.

I also want to use a User Role plugin with which I create a custom user for the client that only has access to “Pages” and “Media” in the WP Admin.

So I’m hoping to automate all of that as they click a button to deploy WordPress on my server. I realize it’s asking a lot, and I may end up just having a site automatically created for them, but then I’ll add the plugins, theme, and user role.

    Thanks for any input.
