I created a quote request form and I want to be able to have a field that auto-populates the product the customer wants a quote for when they click the “request a quote” button from the product page. I have it set up so the button will take them to a different page with the form. I’m new to WP Forms and a novice at WordPress / Elementor (no coding ability). Is this something that can be done using the smart tags feature? Or is this an advanced set-up that requires coding?

  • Hey @aliciad7 – Thanks for contacting us!

When you have some time, can you please confirm if the source product page is using any eCommerce plugins? If the product page is using any eCommerce plugin, I apologize at this moment we don’t have the feature to auto-populate text fields with product titles as we don’t have an integration with an eCommerce plugin. As a workaround, you can create a custom Smart tag that would capture the product title and populate in the text field though. For more details, you can take a look at our doc here.

Having said that, if I misunderstood your question, I apologize for that, and if you can share some more details, that will help me to provide the necessary information.

    Kindly,

    Hey @aliciad7

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
