Can I “attach” uploaded pdf file to page?

I just installed and went thru settings for free WP File Upload. Files that will be uploaded will be Word, PDF, Excel, etc. not images. Ideally I would like a link to the file that was uploaded to appear in the page so that the person who uploads it does not have to have editing rights to the page in order to create the link. But I’m guessing that is not possible.
