Can I allow RSS and REST API?

Hello,
With the help of a tutorial I removed the REST API links in the Yoast plugin settings. A note on the Yoast developer site states that “However, most sites don’t use the WordPress REST API. If your site is one of those, you can safely remove the link with this feature.” As I didn’t remember noticing such a mention in the settings of my other extensions, I activated the toggle.
However, I later noticed that the “Allow REST API” and “Allow RSS” settings (Bypass tab in CMP Advanced Setup) were enabled.
Can I keep both settings (Yoast SEO and CMP) as they are or is there a risk of a conflict?
