Can heading be suppressed on one page only?

    After changing the home page to a static page, I discovered that whatever the page title is it appears as the page heading.

    Normally, I like the page title to appear as the heading, but not on the home page. Is there any way to suppress the heading on just that one page?

    Thanks for the link.

    What I was trying to figure out is if ‘Pages’ has an equivalent to ‘category-8.php’ (i.e. page-8.php)? Apparently not, but seems like a good idea.

    At this point it seems that I’ll need to use if_page(‘8’) to make the changes (thanks for the tip).
