Can full width row background image be used instead of using revolution slider

Hi

I am just requesting a question about page header bigger image for which i am using slider revolution plugin to add a full responsive image in many of our page header, but that really increase the load time, (showing in Google Page speed test) .

So instead of using revolution slider, can we use wpbakery page builder plugin to add a full width row on top of page and call a full width background image in that row?

The instructions shows in this video about adding full width image in wpbakery row ( https://youtu.be/ybheWFk2FTo). (But i am not sure either that will be responsive or not)

Why i am asking this question? Becouse my speed is just 37 in Google Page speed,

When i removed the revolution slider image from one of my page, than my speed gone upto 55, which was really great.

But i am worry about, that adding full width image in row background using wpbakery will be responsive? And will that fit in page header? In same place where revolution slider adding their heading image?
