Can Firebug find the name of the original source file in template/plug-in?

I was just gonna take a shot the dark. Is it possible by “inspecting element” in a WordPress site to find the source file name of where that element exists?

I’m annoyed by inspecting an element > being able to edit the HTML > but not being able to save the HTML or find the file that it’s in.
