• Since today, its not possible to enter my site anymore.
After entering the domain name to come to the Mask where I would enter my Login Data, I don′t get lead to the Login Data Mask but to a site, where it′s written that they use Cookies – and from there, I only get lead to the login site, where it is written, that this site is just new (which isn′t correct, the site is about ten years old and actually it′s possible to visit the site…)
What is happening there and what to do!?

  • Hi @timsptour, if you cannot reach the login page for your WordPress website, you may want to contact your host, which appears to be 1&1 Internet. They may be able to help. It could be that there has been a change made to the security of your site to block access to the login page. It looks like the wp-login.php page redirects to a parked page. Maybe there’s a plugin that is redirecting traffic or blocking access. There are a number of reasons you may be unable to access the login page, and those are just some. The host may be able to roll back your site to a point prior to an update or configuration change.

Hi @dansoschin – thank you for your answer!
Well, of course this was the first thing that I did, after I couldn′t solve the problem, I contacted the Host (1&1) and they were trying to help (at least they said so). They were busy about 55 minutes with this, then called me back and said that there is nothing they can do.
They already rolled back the site to a prior version but it didn′t help.
So, they said it must be a problem with wordpress – that′s why I′m writing here.
I′m also still waiting for the answer of the template firm, Colibri, it seems that other websites that I built with them, will have the same problem….

Maybe you could try swapping out themes… you’d have to do this manually via FTP:

    1. First, you need to choose and download the new theme
    2. Connect via FTP
    3. In “wp-content/themes” directory, find and rename the existing theme folder to something else
    4. Upload the new theme folder to the “wp-content/themes” directory.
    5. Then see if you can log in…

You can also rename plugin folders to “deactivate” them to see if a plugin might be causing an issue.

    Hi @dansoschin
thank you again for your help!
The Problem is solved, finally it was somehow like you said in your first message:
One of the plugins of the site wasn′t updated, so the php version couldn′t handle it properly and was always redirecting to the parked site.
I had to set the PHP to 7.4 and can enter the backend now.
Have to check carefully that everyting is actual now and will then reset the php to 8.2
