Can Contributors be emailed when a new blog is posted?

  • Hey,
    I have a bunch of subscribers to my blog, but none of them get emailed when a new blog is posted. Is there a way to change this?

    It works beautifully and has customisable output – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

    Awesome, that’s exactly what I wanted.
    Second question is:
    Is it possible to have it so that when a user registers for my blog they are automatically subsribed to it?
    It seems right now that they have to register for the blog and THEN click subscribe… anyway to do it all at once?

    I don’t know the answer to this, but I have thought ( or the like ):
    Normally web site owner what to know that subscrbers are real, by sending a confirmation mail before they get registered.

    I don’t mind the script sending out a confirmation email… I just don’t want my users to have to register for the blog and then register for the subscription. It’s a hassle :-\.

    Ohjahh ?? We want them to come back!
