Can Comment Moderation List Be Restored From Backup

Virtually all the items I had in the Comment Moderation list under discussion settings is suddenly gone. I run a program which backs up the tables every week, and also periodically run a manual backup from the administration panel where my blog is hosted. Are the items under Comment Moderation likely to be backed up in a form where they can easily be restored?
