Can collapse multiple date event?

Trying out the free version to see if it meets needs. Currently only have one event but it is a multiple date (monthly) event. The widget display shows an entry for each month. At the beginning of the year there would be 12 events shown. As we add other, different events the display would be cluttered with the monthly events.
Is there a way to collapse the display so that only one event is shown?

Hi Phil,
You are correct, in that the widget treats each event date as an event.
If you are handy with coding the plugin is designed with a template ( widget.php ) so you can create your own custom loop with your own logic.
As this is the first time such a request has been made I will add it to my list of possible future enhancements. ( If any one else needs such a feature please chime in here so I know )
