I have no idea what I’m talking about here. So if the question makes no sense I understand.

My host requested that I modify scripts so that they can re-enable mod-security.

BPS is not an issue. I don’t have it enabled right now.
I understand in general how mod-security works. I have no experience with databases or firewalls. Your plugin has many features and addresses many security issues, I wondered if this is familiar to you – that there is a magic bullet to resolve a known issue. Or will BPS compound the issue – which I doubt.

    Thank you

Nevermind. My host just informed me that the issue is with a specific Rule ID that they disabled. I don’t know what specific one it is yet.

It was triggered by 2 other plugins. RSS Llama and miniOrange social login plugins. Just for complete info for others.

Thanks for posting that info for other folks. There is one common known issues between mod_security and BPS where if mod_security is setup to handle all logging then either mod_security logging would need to be turned off or BPS Security Logging would need to be turned off. There are a couple of very rare cases where additional/custom mod_security SecRules|SecFilters collide with BPS security rules/filters.
