Can anyone tell me what this error message means

  • Hi All

    Just upgraded to the new Gold cart plugin and got this error message?

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class wpsc_merchant_authorize in /home/jedmaxse/public_html/protechsoft/wp-content/plugins/gold_cart_files_plugin/merchants/authorize.merchant.php on line 458

    Any help would be appreciated
    I replaced the gold cart with the old one.

    I can’t even get into my admin to fix it?

  • If you can FTP into your web hosting account you can remove the plugin’s folder that way. If not your web host should provide a file manager that you can use to access files on your website and delete the folder that way.

    Once you have it deleted and working you can try uploading the plugin again. I would also advise seeking support from whoever made the plugin as they may be able to assist you with your problem as well.

    Make sure you backup your site before making any changes or upgrading plugins in the future ??
