Can access dashboard – can’t access site

    When I go to [ redundant link removed ], or any of the pages it simply reads Access Denied.

    I can log in to the dashboard just fine though.

    It’s a WordPress 5.2.3 site, with latest installations of BuddyPress, bbPress, BuddyPress Security Check and Registration options and the Newsletter Plugin. None of those have been updated in the last few days.

    I’m not sure what’s generating the Access Denied, as there’s no ,ore information.

    Any ideas, or places to start looking appreciated.

    Hi there,

    I’m able to access the site just fine. It sounds like your IP address may be blacklisted from the site, so you will need to log into the WordPress Admin Dashboard and whitelist your IP so that you’re able to access the site. If you know you have any Security plugins I’d temporarily disable them and see if that makes any difference.

    Turns out my host had detected suspicious activity. I reinstalled WordPress, and made sure all the plugins were upto date and the host has given access again.
