• I have a site with two themes operating on a single dashboard via a multi-theme plugin. However, there have been some conflicts between the plugins for each theme that prevent certain features from working properly. I understand that if set up a WP network and establish two separate sites I can run different themes. However, since they will both still operate under a single dashboard, will I still have the same conflicts between plugins, or should this resolve this issue?

    Many thanks for any assistance.

  • In a Network (multi-site) installation you set up separete sites that run off the same code-base. The sites do not share the same dashboard. Updates are done in a central location, but day-to-day running of the sites is done separetly on each site. This can be a godo thing or a bad thing depending on youw own needs.

Each site can have it’s own theme and plugins set, and this won’t affect any other site (unless things crash, but that’s another story…).
