• I have created a WP form for my users to complete when they want order a door key.

    Is it possible with WP forms for a user to be able to enter an email address in a field (of a random key cutter) to determine where the form gets sent to?

    note: i still want admin email listed in ‘settings’ to allow a copy of the email to send to admin email address. The main thing i want is for the user to enter any email they wish in a field for the form to send to.

    If this is not possible is there a way in wordpress a user could fill out a basic form and select an email address for the message to be sent?

  • Hey @vertexmedia!

    Great question! You’ll get more help asking directly on the plugin support page for the plugin that you use to make forms.

    Warm regards!

    Thanks M Media.

    Is there another way in wordpress or plugin which can enable a user to send someone a filled form by email? Someone that isnt registered to the site.

    @vertexmedia another good question!

    If I understand you, you’d like someone to be able to put in an email address of someone else and send them an email from a form on the website, right?

    Unfortunately there are some bad hombres on the web and such a system is open to abuse; imagine that a robot would use your form to send spam email to thousands of people from your site!

    Therefore (and again only if I understand you correctly :P), I strongly suggest you take a look at the implementation you are trying to make and consider a different approach to achieve whatever needs doing.

    Warm regards!

    If you want to control this, you’d keep the emails of your affilate keymakers hidden and list them from a dropdown on the form, so your visitors can select only a name. Otherwise, you’re just an open spam sender and will probably get shut down by your host.
