Can a specific UM Role submit a job in certain job category?

Apologies for the late reply. We have been impacted by the Ukraine conflict with several of our team not able to work at the moment.

We don’t have a setting in the plugin for this but you could use a content restriction plugin and restrict access to the page with the job submission form, so only users with that role can view the page and submit the form.

Sorry for the late reply, you may customize job-submission.php template file via theme.
Please remove this part of the code in template file:
https://github.com/ultimatemember/jobboardwp/blob/master/templates/job-submission.php#L344-L361

And after that add the line to the hidden block:
https://github.com/ultimatemember/jobboardwp/blob/master/templates/job-submission.php#L470

Use WordPress native current_user_can() function to make the ‘job_category’ argument base on user role.
