Can a post be under a category?

  • Hi there, I am wondering if there is a way to put a post “under” a page in stead of in a category.

    My second question: If the above is possible, can I simply exclude items from the wp_get_pages();?

  • Okay – well this completely negates the title of your post… first you asked if it can be under a category – we get in here and you’re asking if it can be under a page instead of a category…

    From what I know – there’s no easy way to do what I think you’re asking to do… although there should be. But I think you can basically create a page that appears to be an archive of all the posts in one category (maybe with titles only or something) and then just eliminate that category from get_posts() (not get pages) in your sidebar.
