• Hi all,

I have someone who’s going to help set up my new WP.org blog, but we’ve hit a sign-in snag…

I didn’t give him my main sign-in name & password. Instead, I created a new administrator name and password for him to use. But he says this isn’t working, he’s getting a blank page when trying to access my cpanel.

Have I misunderstood how the sign-in has to work? Or is it more likely that my web host was just “down” for a few minutes, and that’s why he couldn’t sign in?

The thing is, I don’t want to give him the info that I currently use, as I don’t want to have to change it for security purposes afterwards. I plan to cancel the temporary admin name & password once he’s done.

Can’t he use this new admin name/password to sign in with?

    Thanks,

    Viqi
