Calling the Signature?

What is the hook or function used to call a signature by $user_id in a theme?

I’m a theme author and if this plugin is installed I would like for the signature to be displayed in the member-header.php. I only need a proper method buried somewhere in this code to get that done (I could not find any documentation on public hooks or functions).
